Burgund in Dresden

Ein interessantes Burgund-Tasting gab es letzten Samstag in Dresden, dabei u.a. Ursula Nigmann (Vinissima) und Martin Schwarz (Kellermeister bei Schloss Proschwitz). Die Weine wurden blind in 4 Flights zusammengestellt, um gebiets- und jahrgangsspezifische Merkmale herauszuarbeiten.
1. Flight Pierre-Yves Collin-Morey, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets 2008 – pure nose / perfect integrated oak / mineral backbone / medium body / vibrant / fresh acid / elegant / good length / fine / – 2020 / 17,5 Billaud-Simon, Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu 2008 – floral / restrained nose / medium body / crisp acid / austere / good precision but lacks a bit concentration / medium length / – 2018 / 16,5 Comtes Lafon, Meursault 2007 – nutty / wheatgrass / hints of honey / creamy texture / good richness but less definition / shows the high acid of the vintage / oaky medium finish / – 2018 / 17,0-

Flight Naudin-Ferrand, Hautes-Côtes de Nuits 2008 – earthy notes / plummy / medium body / slightly rustic tannins / moderate length / – 2015 / 15,0 Bruno Clair, Marsannay Les Longeroies 2009 – succulent fruit / silky / fine tannins / good balance and length / enjoy young / – 2017 / 16,5 Comtes Lafon, Monthelie-Les-Duresses 1er Cru 2006 – ripe fruit / earthy notes / robust / lacks focus and elegance / moderate length / somewhat disappointing / -2016 / 15,5
